ABOUT VICTORIA

Victoria Silberbauer is an award-winning estate agent, ranked Number One several years in a row at her previous company. She was awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award, the International Hall of Fame Award and the Hall of Fame Award at that well known real estate brand.

Victoria was born in Cape Town and grew up in Kirstenhof. She studied Fashion Design at Cape Town College of Fashion Design, and computer programming at Van Zyl & Pritchard. Having graduated she hopped around the world working primarily in investment banking, including a 9 year tenure at the Royal Bank of Scotland. Her work included moves to London and Hong Kong. Longing for the warm African sun, Victoria came home to Cape Town and has used her prior experience to pursue a successful career in real estate with the vision of helping people get the best price for their homes, and of finding each of her buyers the perfect home that would best fit their needs.

Market value is the value of your house as seen through the eyes of a prospective buyer who has many properties to choose from.

They are comparing Area, Accommodation, Condition and Price. It is easy for an agent to put a price on your home without doing the necessary market estimates, but if this price is too high and the prospective purchaser does not find the value compared to the prices of other houses in the area, the house will not sell.
